About Me
I have been a parish priest for most of my adult life, serving in Derby, Portchester, the Isle of Wight, South Buckinghamshire, Bangkok and Wolverhampton. I have never been disciplined enough to keep a diary, but have rambled widely - with my feet and with my mind. The reflections on this site grow out of my ministry - across the UK and for seven years in Thailand, where, whilst serving in an Anglican Church, I became much more conscious of being a member of the Church Universal, through my time of ministry in an International Church, with membership drawn from more than forty nationalities.
My ramblings fall into two main categories: general reflections on faith and life and more specific reflections on the Bible. As Christians, we call the Bible the inspired Word of God, and encourage believers to read it, but we all need help. These notes are intended to be read alongside the Bible, seeking to offer a framework in which to read.
Join me, as I ramble through life and ramble through the Bible.
